Seems as though artists that start with "the" create 2 entries. For example The Doors are listed twice as "The Doors" and "Doors, The" and show up in jukebox list, coverart, and artists and coverart views. The database views seem unaffected.
Maybe settings checkbox to denote if this happens or not would be a good idea.

Additionally, if you have time, i would be very interested in how i can create my own "View Style". I saw this post http://www.tandksoftware.com/cgi-bin/forum/Blah.pl?m-1258163393/ and if im not mistaken is it possible to create a view from the original dropdown instead of having to use database views and going that route? Or are those View Styles hard coded? Any help would be greatly appreciated  |

Hey Tony,
First i would like to say that this software is awesome. I like what youve done with it so far.
But, I was wondering if there is a way to set album art for genres. When i use the Database Covers->Genre view it lists the appropriate Genres that i have for my songs, but I havent found a way to link them to a file to display artwork like an album cover does.
Any help would be appreciated.

| I have all boxes clicked except hide play buttons in party play, but it will not auto play (random) it seems i have to click random play on main menu to get it to play random, but when it plays it plays only audio not the video ? It is neccerery to click the randon play on main menu to get it to play random in party play mode or should the settings on party play mode be completly seperate than the main menu ? |

| That's the problem really, isn't it? The trade off between allowing people access to do what they want - but then hoping that don't do something that will just irritate everyone else at the party. My Jukebox is set up with chart singles, and I personally am not into Top 40 at all (I'm a fan of extreme metal), so for me there is nothing worse than a 15 year old nephew turning up and queueing twenty Eminem and 50 Cent tracks all in a row... ARGH! |

As some ppl are just plain ignorant, when I use it at parties I have the queue set to a max of 10 songs, with the same song not allowed for 20 minutes. With 2600 Video Clips and around 30,000 mp3's I'm sure they can find something else to play

| Yeh, there have been a lot of requests similar to this in the past. (drilling down by custom categories). Multiple selections is a new one though! |

In Settings.ini there is a [Shortcuts], under that there is "QueueRandomize=". You can add your own shortcut if you want to. Have a look at the way all the other commands are configured, just don't use an existing key combination. |

| Is there a keyboard command to 'Randomize' the queue similar to all the other keyboard mappings? There is nothing worse than at a party when some fool queues up 30 tracks by the same artist all in a row. It would be nice to be able to shuffle the queue real quick in this situation. Thanks! |

| Something I think would be very useful is the option to filter both YEAR and GENRE. First thoughts would be to place a button for each on the tool bar that contains the search binoculars. Ideally, it would be great if the user was presented with a list of years / genres so that not just one, but multiple could be selected - this would allow, say, all the 1980s to selected at once. Similar, with genre, you could select 3 or 4 genres at a time. As I use my jukebox software like an actual jukebox (filled with only singles for each year), this would allow a user to just see songs from this year, for example. |

| I'd second this - It sounds like a great option, but I think it would be best if it could be filtered also to ONLY show new tracks if possible. |

Hi Tony. Downloaded the new version you posted for me (362010060 The double clicking is sorted but another problem has appeared in this version ,, when you enter the operator password to shut down the pc the scroll bar has disappeared , it still works you can still scroll down to to the shutdown bar but it is confusing some of my barmaids with no scroll bar showing . When you,ve got 5 mins can you have a look. many thanks rich |

| Is it poss to lock the movable divider bars between the top and sides, some people seem to not be able to operate a touch screen and press on touchscreen which if in right position can bring up the resize of the divider bars that change the width of the different areas on UJ thanks |

| I tried UJ 3.6 the one that would not work with party play again and it worked this time ? So I changed the singleclick option and all is fine (same pc same everything but last time it was not playing videos strange) |

| Hi thanks........but on my pc which is using UJ 3.5 version (I could not get the 3.6 version to work with party play) it does not have that option ? I downloaded the 3.6 version and found it and altered it and yes it works but on the 3.5 version it only has double clickfullscreen not the single click full screen ? thanks Can that option be added to UJ 3.5 ? |

Everything is going fine, but would it be possible to have a single touch to revert back to main screen and visa vesa ?
The problem I am having is the new touch screen i have sometimes does not register when you double touch the screen , the only time I use double touch is when i go from full screen to selection screen and back from selection screen to full screen video is there anyway to change the program so it all works on single touch ? many thanks |
