When using a touch screen some of the controls are difficult to use even using the large button skin.A greater size button would be better.....or can I modify the existing skin ?

Yes, you can modify the skin if you want to.  You can either edit the existing BMP files directly or you can go to Settings->Skins->Skins(tab) and enter a name for the skin and click export, this will create a new skin folder with all of UJ's images in it.  You can then edit the images if you want to.
